Westman Shaving was founded by Tiago Sousa in Portugal who began spending time at a barbershop in Lisbon where his friend worked in 2014 and fell in love with wet shaving. All of the research, formulation, scent composition, testing, and product design is done by Tiago with help from his wife. Today, the Westman line has expanded from Soaps to Aftershaves, EDTs, and Brushes.
Scent Description
Bastardo sets the standard for a traditional Bay Rum. Whereas many Bay Rums can be flat, or one-dimensional, sometimes with one note which overpowers the others, Bastardo is masterfully balanced. The Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Clove and Rum heart notes make for a warm and rich blend, to which the Orange top note adds zest and the Patchouli, Vanilla and Woods base notes adds depth. Bastardo is a slightly sweet, smooth, calm bouqet of delicious spices which is perfect for the holidays and colder seasons, and suitable for almost any occasion, although a casual fragrance which might be most appropriate for home and family.

Base Description
The Nirvana soap base produces one of the densist and richest lathers to be found in wet shaving. The structure of the lather is characterized by ShaveSplash as Yogurty, which is extremely moist and smooth. In addition, due to its premium ingredients and skin foods which include Kokum Butter, Mango Butter, Goat Milk, Glycerin, Avocodo Oil and Jojoba Oil, the Nirvana base produces a lather with exceptional cushion, high slickness and strong stability.
