Stirling was started by Roderick and Amanda Lovan in 2012 after a trip to Scotland during which they fell in love with products with natural ingredients and decided to try their hand at making natural soaps. Executive Man is based on Aventus, the iconic scent from the house of Creed, one of the most duped fragrances in the world of wet shaving. Aventus is beloved by both men, and the women who love them, and sits in the pantheon of greatest "Date Night" fragrances. Among its many homages, Executive Man is perhaps the best executed due to its accuracy, balance, quality of ingredients, and scent strength, and is often cited by Stirling as its best selling soap. The magic of Aventus resides in its fruits. For although it is a masculine, fresh, scent, the subtle hints of Blackcurrant and Pineapple, add a depth and roundness to the bouquet which is deeply alluring. When combined with the Musk, Leather, Birch and Ambroxan, the melange is both intoxicatang and seductive, but in a manner which isn't brash or assertive, but mature and sophisticated. The Stirling shave soap base hasn't changed its formula since it was first introduced and produces the quintessential example of a lather which ShaveSplash characterizes as Creamy. The formula follows the dictum of keeping it simple and is tallow-based with only 12-14 ingredients which are mainly all-natural. The result is a lather which is moist and smooth, with strong stability, good cushion, high density, and exceptional slickness, and due to the high-quality ingredients with beneficial skin properties has an excellent post-shave feel.
