80th Anniversary
Saponificio Varesino
Saponoficio Varesino was established in 1945 by Dante Bardelli in the small town of Brebbia (Varese) near the shores of Lago Maggiore in Italy. It is considered a premium brand among shave soaps and reknowned for its luxurious soap base and sophisticated fragrances, many of which are inspired by popular men's colognes. The brand has grown into multiple product lines including Shaving Products, which includes a line of artisan razors and brushes, and Bath and Body Products, which include Bar Soaps, Liquid Soaps, Shampoos and Shower Gels.

Scent Description
80th Anniversary is an homage to Blue de Chanel. For a wildly popular fragrance which has become common enough to be considered mainstream, Bleu de Chanel is in its own way controversial. Many consider it an intensely woody scent, but as the name itself describes, it is also blue, which typically denotes aquatic accords. Chanel describes the scent as “herbal-woody” and indeed the scent notes support that with citrus, mint and pepper up front, followed by ginger, nutmeg, and jasmine at the center, and a base of cedar, sandalwood, musk and patchouli. Yet despite no aquatic notes mentioned, a sea-air freshness seems to blow through it giving the impression of the ocean. 80th is a masculine and sophisticated scent, which is intensely fresh and spicy, and versatile enough to be worn casually or dressed up for date night. An icon deserving of its popularity.
