Proraso

Proraso is one of the oldest grooming products companies in Italy. It was founded by Ludivico Martilli in 1908. In 1948, Ludovico's son, Piero Martelli, introduced Proraso, a pre-shave cream with a Eucalypus and Mint scent infused with Menthol which quickly become popular and today is known as the iconic Proraso Green. The offering has expanded into a full-line of shaving products including shaving cream, splashes, and balms, with multiple new scents. Proraso has remained dedicated to offering a product with high quality ingredients at a reasonable price and has become a staple of wet shavers around the world.

Scent Description

Proraso Green is elegantly simple in its scent formula, eucalyptus and mint. Yet as simple as it is, this powerful combination makes for a green, herbal, minty blast which is extremely masculine and captures the essence of a barbershop. The mint makes it smell clean, and the menthol makes it cool and refreshing on the skin. In many ways, Proraso is the quintessential aftershave in the way it invigorates, cleanses, and emanates natural freshness and masculinity. It's one shortcoming is its ephemeralness, as its beauty seems to fade as quickly as it arrives. Proraso can be worn anytime, but seems most at home during the day, and being active or at play. A true classic which is a staple of any collection.
