Mennen
Mennen was established in 1878 by Frank Mennen in New Jersey who began selling medicated talcum powder. In the 1920s, Mennen expanded into aftershaves and shaving soaps and in 1931 introduced Skin Bracer aftershave. The company expanded into deoderants in the 1960s when it introduced its iconic Speed Stick. Mennen was acquired by Pfizer in 1987 who sold it to Colgate-Palmolive in 1992.

Scent Description
Skin Bracer was born during the golden age of barbershop scents when Caron Pour un Homme (1934), Old Spice (1937), and Clubman (1940s) rose to prominence. It's a prime example of how the basic Fougère structure morphed into what became known as the Barbershop scent by infusing notes of spice and powder. Like Clubman, it has a mossy base, which is made zesty with menthol, and sweet with lavender and vanilla. On the skin, the menthol and alcohol are as the name suggests, bracing. A classic and straightforward barbershop which is easy to wear and appropriate in almost any setting, short of date night.
