Emerald Leprechaun

Adopted Acres

Adopted Acres was founded in 2024 by Doug & Cara Layne in Asheville Ohio, where Doug uses tallow from the family farm where they have over 1,000 acres and an Angus beef cattle herd to make his soap. Doug is a wet shaving fanatic who dreamed of making his own soaps and splashes. The fragrances are all original and in addition to Cara the couple's five children help run the show.

Scent Description

Emerald Leprachaun is a well-balanced and zesty Fougère which is green, lush, arboreal and rich. The strong notes of Lemon Verbena, Geranium, Lavender and Violet reveal that some of its DNA is shared with another iconic Fougère, Creed's Green Irish Tweed. Yet it has a distinct personality due to the introduction of Anise and Basil which add a spicy, herbal edge, and Carnation and Iris which add a floral sweetness and additional complexity. Emerald Leprachaun builds on an established theme to create something innovative and unique. An inviting scent, which is clean, fresh, and full of spirit without being overpowering, making it appropriate for any occassion, day or night.
